Medical Sales Representatives jobs across the UK
We recruit, train and manage sales teams on behalf of all of the UK’s top pharmaceutical players. Your job role as a Medical Representative will be to increase the profitable sales of drugs for the companies we represent. Reporting to a Regional Business Manager, medical sales reps visit GPs, practice managers, nurses and pharmacists within Primary Care and potentially visiting hospitals within your own specific territory. A typical day will be a mix of formal appointments and speculative calls to healthcare professionals. You will be working under your own steam for much of the time and not everyone will always want to see you! A thorough 10-day initial training course will be provided before you even start and we’ll always be there to provide ongoing support and further training.
What skills do you need for a medical sales rep? All kinds of people can find success in medical sales jobs especially with the choice of part-time and full time work. You could be an existing medical representative – or a business/science graduate, ideally with some sales experience. We’ll also consider sales-oriented people with an A-level in science. You’ll certainly be outgoing, enthusiastic and resilient, with natural communication skills.
