Typical job description for a nurse /clinical specialist
The Nurse/Clinical Specialist role is very much customer-facing, introducing PCT’s and Hospital Trusts to our services, educating them in the mechanics of the programme and ensuring the right infrastructure is in place - everything from space for our nurse to work through access to administrative support, right down to jointly agreeing protocols for at-risk patients.
Using a rich mixture of nursing and commercial skills you will spend a lot of time working independently and talking prospective customers through the benefits of our solutions both to their organisation and to their patients.
For clinical nurse specialist jobs many of our programmes are associated with complex conditions where you will be working with other healthcare professionals and patients to train and educate in the correct usage of devices, equipment and medicines.
Responsible for implementing the programme, you will become very much involved with patients in educational, screening or audit activities. You will also participate in a 'legacy programme', training customer staff to maintain the same levels of excellence.
The role involves working with a multi disciplinary team, tailoring solutions to meet customers' specific needs, so you will need to be a strong team player.
