What skills do you need to be a Secondary Care Rep?
All kinds of people can find success in a secondary care representative job. You could be an existing Hospital Representative – or a Medical Representative, ideally with some hospital sales experience and an understanding of secondary care. You’ll certainly be outgoing, enthusiastic and resilient, with natural communication skills.

Secondary Care Jobs: Typical DutiesYour role as a Secondary Care Representative will be to increase the profitable sales of products for the companies we work with. We continually adapt to the changes in the NHS and increasingly recognise the importance of secondary care to our business.
Secondary Care jobs involve reporting to a Hospital Sales Manager, visiting hospitals, consultants, pharmacists and purchasers within your own specific territory. A typical day will be a mix of formal appointments and speculative calls to healthcare professionals. You will be working under your own steam for much of the time and not everyone will always want to see you! A thorough training course will be provided before you even start and we’ll always be there to provide ongoing support and further training.
